is known for beeing the best vacations destination due to its outstanding landscapes, the cheap conveniences and the welcoming people. The most amazing part of Bali is situated outside of the touristic roads and 5* resorts. It can be found in the small villages, balinese country roads and the unknown temples. I was surprised with balinese version of Hinduism – mixed and matched with the local islanders' believes. All kind of the landscapes are concentrated in one on this Indonesian island: mountains, lakes, ocean, sea, volcanos, picturesque rice fields, waterfalls and huge variety of flora and fauna drown in the flowers and coconut trees.
High quality prints on art paper of following works are available sale. Please send an e-mail, mentioning the number reference of the picture for details.

1. Ferry to Nusa Penida. The funny island experience of the ferry, off-road scooter rides and pittoresque coastal line. The ferries are very similar to Andaman’s ferries - no one knows the timing, no ticketing on-line or schedule, if there is the small waves - they stay in the port.
Colour pencils, black pen, Original size 35cm x 42cm

2. View to Agung from Sideman village
I was happy to see Agung mountain just for the duration of my sketching. Due to the eruption of in November 2017, the Agung ascents are not allowed since that time, we can just enjoy the view from the valleys around.

3. Rice fiels on the road from Basakih temple to Pura Lempuyang.
Besaki temple is the one which is worth to see. The road up to Lempoyang temple is amazing, the view to Agung mountain is breath taking. Put “Pura Puncak Bisbis” on your GPS, walk 2500 steps from Lampoyang spot and enjoy the view and absence of the crowd. The green of the fiels is so bright that I had the desire to use the fluorescent paint all the time, but I don’t have in my colour set.
Colour pencils, water-colours, oil pastel, Original size 43cm x 50cm

4. Rice fields near Iseh village
It’s the most picturesque village what I ever seen in my life . It gives a beautiful view to Agung, but I wasn’t very lucky because Agung- mountain was all the time covered with the clouds, the rains were long and heavy. No wonder that the three artists stayed and worked here in the mid- XX century: Walter Spice, Theo Meier and Rudolf Bonnet.

5. Road between Sideman and Iseh villages
The road by itself is a framed painting, whatever weather you have. This sketch was nearly washed off by the rain, I corrected just couple details and left it wet as it was.

5. Pura Dalem Desa pekraman Kebung
This Pura ( the word literally means walls), composed by multiple shrines, situated on the top of the mountain near Sideman. It’s the point of view to the ocean of the South Bali and Agung volcano on the North of the island. I started sketching in the daytime and finally finished by night.
The sun went down behind the hills on the west side of the island. All scene looked as a divine movie, performed just for me and the birds around. The full moon and stars raised on the cupola of the sky above Siva tower. I experienced the unexplainable joy of being the witness of extraterrestrial beauty of the nature.

7. Diamond beach in Nusa Penida.
It’s the one of the most photographed spots on the island. The note to be taken from my experience: if the place is marked in trip adviser or lonely planet - it’s better to avoid or to come on the sunset or sunrise to this spot, because of the herd of selfies hunters.
The panoramic view of this beach is exceptionnel, the current is very strong - it’s not possible to swim, the tides are remarcable.
The wonderful every minute changing colours of the lime stones rocks make the unforgettable imprint in the memory
Watercolours, oil pastel, wax crayons, Original size 35cm x 42cm

8. Soka beach.
The stretch of the black unusual sand of extraordinary finesse outlines the bright colours of the fishermen boats on the empty Soka beach.

The small shrine with the water spring inside is framed with the bas-reliefs of the local spirits covered with moss.
One can have a weird feeing of being observed by the rocks

10. Siva tower (meru) in Besakih temple
Besakih temple is one of the oldest and the most important temple of Bali. Composed of 23 different shrines, situated 1000m above the sea level near Agung mountain, the temple counts its history from megalithic era. 14. Balinaise fishing boats on Lovina beach.
The north seacoast of Bali is washed by the most quiet water I ever seen, it looks as a lake with unbelievable transparency of the water.
